Disneyland -- June 2011

This is for you Rachel. You are my only follower.

Ok this may also be for my family history. I'm so great at journaling, taking pictures (ummm I left my camera at home for this trip....my kids' FIRST trip to Disneyland. Go me.) recording our family history and stuff, etc. etc.

So my little brother left on his mission to Russia at the end of June. My family took a fun trip down to a beachouse in Newport Beach, CA for a week before he left. I know Matt was/is concerned that my kids won't remember him, and I'm really hoping they will. Here are a few snapshots from the trip. By a few, I mean alot.

We attempted to do an unplanned family picture on the beach, using the timer. It kind of worked. And no, my sisters did not intentionally wear the exact same outfit.

We are funny. We like to do stupid stuff, like this.

Let me just offer you all one piece of advice (yes, I was also given this advice, but I did not follow it). Do not take your kids on all the big and scary rides first, or the rest of the day they will look like this:

Terrified. Awesome Mom Award for sure this year.

Bubble machines. So expensive. But so worth it!

45 minute wait for the 3D Toy Story ride in the middle of the day = Alexa falls asleep and misses the whole thing. Too funny.
