I am only about a month late here but oh well. Alexa turned 2 last month and we had a fun little party to celebrate. I may have died a few fingers black for a week or two but I think the black pumpkins were a success...at least in my book.
Alexa is such an entertaining little thing around our house. She talks more than any other kid and it surprises everyone how well she can talk too. Some of my favorite phrases are "That wasn't supposed to happen" or when she sings "Your heart's an empty hole" (yes, Christmas is in full swing at our house already...). She is the most polite 2 year aroundand says "Thank You" and "You're Welcome" a hundred times a day but is also the biggest tease to Colton, poor big brother. She still loves to growl and scare people and it's just about the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Finally another update! Your kids are getting so big! Another book...The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton! Im reading it right now and LOVE it and all my family is obsessed!
